Terms of use for the property valuation

These terms of use govern the use of the Wertify platform for the free property valuation in Switzerland.

Wertify provides a digital initial estimate for single-family houses and apartments. The valuation is based on user input, rule-based evaluations and automated processing steps that may include AI components depending on the step.

By starting the valuation, users agree to these terms of use. The version published at the time of use applies.

Wertify enables a structured and non-binding initial estimate of a property. This includes in particular a market value range, notes on price positioning, assessments of condition and further orientation aids for classifying the property.

The Wertify value estimate is a non-binding automated orientation. It does not replace an official valuation, an expert appraisal or individual financial, tax, legal or real-estate advice.

The platform does not replace an official valuation, individual expert advice or a final technical inspection of the building. Wertify does not owe an official market value assessment.

The valuations provided are not suitable for submission to banks, insurers, authorities or other institutions and must not be used as a basis for financing, official procedures or other official purposes.

They are intended to provide initial orientation, but do not constitute a binding statement about a later achievable sale price or the actual market development.

In addition, the recovery code can be sent once by email on request. This convenience function does not replace a user account and does not establish a permanent contact relationship.

The valuation is created automatically. Wertify uses structured rules, statistical models, internal heuristics and, where suitable, AI-supported processing, for example for follow-up questions, image analysis or language preparation.

Automated processing serves the efficiency and consistency of the initial estimate. Despite careful design, it may be incomplete, contain assumptions or be based on inputs that do not fully reflect every special feature of a property in an individual case.

The valuation may also be based on external data sources whose timeliness, completeness or accuracy cannot be guaranteed in every case.

By starting the valuation, users acknowledge that the valuation is automated and that this does not create a right to an individual human review or to a specific professional conclusion.

The quality of the valuation depends substantially on the information entered. Users are responsible for providing information about the property completely and correctly to the best of their knowledge.

Wertify does not check the entered information for factual correctness in advance. Incorrect, incomplete or misleading information can influence the result.

If images are uploaded, they are evaluated with the necessary restraint. Image indications are not understood as a technical assessment and do not replace an on-site inspection.

If users optionally request the recovery code by email, the address entered is used exclusively for this one-time delivery. Technically required delivery and system logs remain unaffected.

Use of the platform with deliberately false, misleading or abusive information as well as automated or systematic queries outside the intended purpose is prohibited.

The valuation by Wertify is non-binding. It is neither a binding offer nor an assurance of a specific value or later sales success.

In particular, there is no guarantee that the stated market value range, price recommendation or individual condition and risk notes will be confirmed in later marketing, financing or appraisal.

Users are responsible for whether and how they use the results. For important economic or legal decisions, an additional individual expert review should be obtained.

Use of the valuation is entirely at your own risk.

Data is not passed on to brokers automatically when the valuation is started. If users want support with a sale at the end of the valuation, they can give separate consent to targeted disclosure to suitable brokers.

This consent is separate from the use of the valuation. Without explicit consent at the end of the flow, no targeted broker disclosure takes place.

Wertify does not act as a real estate broker, intermediary or representative of a contracting party and is not itself involved in concluding a sale.

There is no entitlement to a recommendation, to the referral of a broker or to successful contact.

Wertify assumes no responsibility for services, offers, statements or content of recommended or contacted third parties.

Wertify is not liable for direct or indirect damages, lost economic opportunities, sales not concluded or decisions made on the basis of the valuation.

Use of the platform is at the user's own risk. Mandatory statutory liability provisions remain reserved where they cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Wertify is in particular not liable for the valuation being complete in an individual case, available at all times or suitable for a specific economic purpose.

Wertify also gives no warranty for uninterrupted availability of the platform or for individual functions being error-free.

Wertify may adapt these terms of use if this is necessary for legal, professional or operational reasons. The version published at the time the valuation is started applies to the respective use.

Wertify reserves the right to adapt, further develop or discontinue content, functions and processes of the platform at any time.

Swiss law applies exclusively. The place of jurisdiction is the registered office of Wertify, unless a mandatory statutory place of jurisdiction takes precedence.
